This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all products purchased from www.tarveld.co.za.
Returns – General
All return requests must be submitted in writing via email within 10 (ten) business days of receiving or collecting your order.
Return requests must include:
Proof of purchase (invoice or order number)
Clear photos of the product (and defect, if applicable)
After 10 business days, only warranty-related defective items will be considered.
Items Eligible for Return
You may return an item for exchange, or store credit, provided that:
Original proof of purchase is supplied
Products ordered in the wrong size, will not be refunded, only exchanged
Correctly supplied orders will not be refunded. A store credit or exchange can be given at our discretion
Returned items will be subject to a 15% handling fee
The item is unused, unworn, and undamaged
All original tags, labels, stickers, and seals remain intact
The item is returned in original, undamaged packaging
All accessories, parts, and components are included
The item is returned within 10 business days of delivery
Return shipping is at your own cost and risk
Tarveld Rider Co is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
Defective Products
We take pride in supplying high-quality products. If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect, please notify us in writing within the applicable warranty period.
Once verified:
We will arrange collection of the item at no charge
The item will be repaired or replaced at our discretion
A defect is defined as a fault or imperfection caused during manufacturing that renders the product unsuitable for its intended use.
The following are not considered defects:
Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or negligence
Damage resulting from improper care or storage
Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications
Incorrect or Unsuitable Orders
If you receive:
The wrong product
An item missing parts or accessories
A product that does not match the description on our website
Please notify us within 10 business days. We will arrange collection and replace the item at no charge.
This also applies to:
Riding apparel that does not fit
Parts or accessories incompatible with your motorcycle
Items incorrectly ordered by the customer may still be returned, but:
Return shipping is for the customer’s account
Tarveld Rider Co accepts no liability for lost returns
Refunds, Exchanges & Store Credit
Once your returned item has been inspected and approved, you may choose one of the following:
Replacement (subject to availability)
Store credit
Refund to the original payment method
Refunds or credits will be processed within 10 business days of approval.
Manufacturer Warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply strictly to manufacturing defects only and do not cover:
Damage caused by misuse or abuse
Use outside of the product’s intended purpose
Failure to follow care or installation instructions
Accidental damage
Attempted self-repair or unauthorised repairs
Warranty terms vary by product and manufacturer.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
Products outside of their warranty period
Items clearly marked “Non-Returnable” on the product page
Gift vouchers, discount vouchers, or promotional coupons
